Elizabeth Stefanko
After Princess Diana's death, Elizabeth Stefanko told her parents she wanted
to make a difference in the world, using her voice to inspire.
At the age of 10, she began that journey! Soon into her career, Michael Crawford, scheduled to sing on Robert Schuller's "Hour Of Power", requested the Crystal Cathedral identify a talented young signer for a special duet.
An audition tape (Elizabeth performing a Quincy Jones tune) was over-nighted to Australia. Crawford liked what he heard and Elizabeth, after a short morning rehearsal, sang with the famed musician that night. Was she nervous? "Well, no, but Elizabeth said" It was the first time I'd ever sung in front of an orchestra and my knees sort of shook".
Her voice is pure, lyrical and simply delightful. At the Crystal Cathedral, where Elizabeth also attended the Academy of Performing Arts, Elizabeth frequently sang - for the Sunday service and was seen by millions of television viewers worldwide and for other special events, including the Glory of Christmas.
She's also brought Jimini Cricket to life and Maid Marian in Southern California musical theatre performances.
